Hi, I'm Lindsey

I'm a planetary astronomer studying the atmospheres of exoplanets. I am also the United States Point of Contact for the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), a global network of students and early career people in the space sector. With the American Astronomical Society, I am a member of the Committee for the Protection of Astronomy and the Space Environment (COMPASSE). I am passionate about science, policy, engineering, and public science education.

I recently completed my Astrophysics PhD at Arizona State University. I earned my undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University, studying Engineering Mechanics and Earth and Planetary Science. I am a 2019 Brooke Owens Fellow for women and gender minorities in aerospace. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, reading, Formula 1, remote-controlled planes, and cuddling my cat.
